Hackers, Phishers, and Wardrivers are major concerns in outdoor wireless networks today. WPA2 is based on the IEEE 802.11i amendment to the 802.11 standard.

Military Spec. FIPS 140/2 Certification has been awarded to Meshdynamics.

For added over-the-air security, data encryption is also supported, including Temporal Key Integrity Protocol (TKIP) and Advanced Encryption Standard (AES).
